Yasumitsu Mizobata has graduated Osaka City University on 1985, and completed his PhD from Osaka University. He finished his trauma surgery training in Osaka University Hospital and Osaka prefectural Senshu Critical Care Medical Center. He is the professor of department of traumatology and critical care medicine in Osaka City University, and the director of critical care medical center and intensive care unit in Osaka City University Hospital. He is the board member of the JAAM, JAST, JSACS, and JSEM. He is the board in charge of international liaison committee of JAST and JAAM.

Dr. Dimitrios Karakitsos is an Associate Professor in Medicine (University of South Carolina, School of Medicine) and an Adjunct Associate Professor in Critical Care (Keck Medical School, University of Southern California). He is an international, well-published expert and researcher in critical care ultrasound and crisis resource management in trauma. Currently, he is also affiliated to the Trauma Center of King Saud Medical City (KSMC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Leslie S. Zun, M.D., M.B.A. is the System Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine in the Sinai Health System in Chicago, Illinois and Chairman & Professor, Department of Emergency Medicine and a secondary appointment in the Department of Psychiatry at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science/Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. His background includes a medical degree (M.D.) from Rush Medical College and a business degree (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University's JL Kellogg School of Management. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Zun was a chief operating officer and acting chief executive officer for a 200 bed hospital in Chicago.He has presented his research and lectured on these topics both nationally and internationally. He is President of the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry and a board member of American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the. He is the chief editor of the Behavioral Emergencies for Emergency Physicians textbook and course director for the past six years for the National Update on Behavioral Emergencies conference.

Mélanie Bérubé is a PhD candidate at McGill University. She completed an acute care post-master’s nurse practitioner diploma at the University of Toronto and a master’s degree at the Université de Montréal. Ms. Bérubé has work as an advanced practice nurse in orthopaedics and trauma for 5 years and a clinical nurse specialist in the fields of trauma and critical care for 10 years. She currently holds the positions of trauma coordinator and research coordinator for the Department of Nursing at the Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montreal, a level one trauma center. Her research interest is the prevention of adverse events in trauma including the acute to chronic pain transition.

Alessandra Falco has completed her PhD in Social and Personality Psychology from Padua University. She is now Researcher and Adjunct Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at Padua University.

Her research areas are: (a) work-related stress risk assessment, with particular reference to the development of “integrated” tools, based on subjective, objective, and physiological indicators; (b) the role of specific individual and behavioral dimensions (workaholism, negative affectivity, mindfulness, PsyCap resources, perfectionism, presenteeism) in the etiology of organizational well-being/disease; (c) social marketing, communication and change, with particular reference to traffic psychology.

Calvin Mak is a Neurosurgeon specialist, working as an Associate Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Hong Kong. After completing his graduation at University of Hong Kong, he worked at several neurosurgery centers in Hong Kong during Neurosurgical training, and completed the fellowship of FRCSEd (SN) in 2014. His current clinical and research interest includes “Traumatic brain injury, skull base surgery, neuro-endoscopy, and minimal access brain and spine operations”. He is also interested in implementing information technology in postgraduate training and medical practice.

Dr.Tran received his B.S. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2003, from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis).In 2008, he completed his Ph.D.in Comparative Pathology from UC Davis. He served as a postdoctoral scholar at the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) UC Davis Point-of-Care Technologies Center from 2009 – 2011. During this time he also completed a M.S. in Pharmacology and Toxicology. In 2011, he was recognized for his contributions to the field of clinical chemistry and was voted into the membership of National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. In the same year, he was also accepted to the National Center for Advancing Translational Science (NCATS) funded Clinical and Translational Science Center’s (CTSC) K30 Mentored Clinical Research Training Program (MCRTP) to further his research training in burn critical care and focus on the clinical impact of accurate blood glucose monitoring system (BGMS) accuracy on tight glycemic control. This data precipitated significant changes in United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines involving BGMS approval, and recent Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for glycemic monitoring in critically ill patients. Currently, Dr. Tran serves as Assistant Clinical Professor for the Clinical Chemistry and Point-of-Care Testing Sections through the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at UC Davis School of Medicine. He serves as Principal Investigator for a $1.87 million United States Army Medical Research and Material Command (USAMRMC) Sepsis Trial [multicenter, randomized, controlled trial] evaluating the clinical impact of rapid, quantitative, molecular determination of Staphylococcus aureus in burn sepsis patients. He is also a National Heart Blood and Lung Institute (NHLBI) Emergency Medicine K12 Career Award Scholar focusing on physiologically based pharmacokinetics for antimicrobial therapy in patients with sepsis.

Dr. Dave P.Milzman is an Professor of Emergency Medicine and currently serves in multiple roles at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is an Assistant Dean for Student Research, Research Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Washington Hospital Centre of Georgetown University,Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine, and Medical Student Senior Advisor Director of Brain Trauma Research .He is also an Adjunct Professor of Biology at Georgetown University. He served in various teaching, research, and practice roles with several schools and hospitals in the metropolitan area. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University, and completed his residency training in Emergency and Internal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. Dr. Milzman is one of two non-lawyer members of the Commission. On June 3, 2014, the City Council confirmed the appointment of Dr. David P. Milzman as a member of the Commission on Judicial Disabilities and Tenure for a term to expire May 5, 2017.

Zaza Demetrashvili was born in 1963, in Tbilisi. He got his MD status when he was 25 years old and completed his PhD at the age of 32 from a postdoctoral study in Tbilisi State Medical University. He is Associate Professor of Surgery, of Tbilisi State Medical University and Senior General Surgeon of Kipshidze Central University Hospital (Tbilisi, Georgia). He has published more than 80 scientific articles in international peer reviewed journals. He also is serving as an editorial board member and a reviewer of various international medical journals. He is member of several international surgical associates.

Dr. Tony Joseph is the Director of Trauma (Emergency) and an Emergency Physician at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney. He was the chairperson of the Steering Committee for the formation of the Australasian Trauma Society in 1997 and is a Past President and Treasurer of the Society. He is the Clinical Associate Professor-Emergency Medicine, Northern Clinical School. He has been the Chairperson of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) Ultrasound Subcommittee and is the current Chair of the NSW Faculty of the ACEM as well as a member of the ACEM Council and the current chair of the ACEM Standards Committee. He is an author on 19 publications, three book chapters and has given over 30 presentations at national and international Emergency and Trauma meetings. He is also involved in teaching emergency ultrasound to other doctors and emergency medicine trainees and medical students. He has also been a supervisor for medical students doing honours year. He is currently an EMST Instructor and Course Director. He is also an Instructor on the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons\' Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient (CRISP) Course.

Akram Fayed, has completed his training in Egypt and USA and earned his Doctorate Degree in Critical Care Medicine as well as the ABIM in 2005. Since then he contributed by giving talks and presenting research activities in many national and international conferences. He is a founder and member of the Egyptian Society of Critical Care and Emergency. He is also a member of SCCM, ESICM and others. He has a number of publications in CCM in elite journals. He is currently an Associate Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Alexandria, Egypt.

Dr. Claudia M. Elsig has over more than 20 years experience in the area of psychiatric and psychotherapeutic medicine. Out of a deep interest for the effects of psychological and physical traumas like post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, eating disorders, the whish in her grew to help those people individually, holistic and sustaining. On the way to a multi-specialist she looked for the best mentors in Europe for behavioural therapy, hypnosis and EMDR. She passed through training in genetics and genetic consultation with the focus on addiction, depression and anxiety disorders and discovered the fascination of epigenetics. For years she managed the special consultation for clinical hypnosis at a private clinic in Zurich. During the past years as a medical director and manager of the psychiatry department in an international practice she deepened her knowledge on multiple types of addiction and their effects. In 2004 she founded the Calda AG and developed an individual integrative treatment concept for psychological diseases. Today, she is the manager of the Calda Clinic for in-patient clients at Lake Zurich and an outpatient, psychiatric-psychotherapeutic practice in Zollikon. Doctor Charles E. Wiles III, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Boston College in Massachusetts, and his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine in 1973. His post graduate training included a surgical residency at the Erie County Medical Center as well as a Senior Fellowship at the R Adams Shock Trauma Center in Maryland. Currently, Doctor Wiles is an attending surgeon with University at Buffalo Surgeons, Inc. at the Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY. He holds a faculty position with the University at Buffalo as Associate Program Director for the Department of Surgery as well as Clinical Professor of Surgery.
